Indeed I would know.
I also had two duels that dragged on for similar amounts of time.
One a win, one a loss. One was an extremely close game, which I lost, the other was me making an amazing comeback.
Game one: both of us were one turn from gaming the other. I was at less than 500 life points, my opponent was the same. The field was barren of backrow and monsters, save one of mine. I still forget which card exactly... it was nothing special. I ended my turn after my attack put him to low enough that I'd game him next turn. About four friends were watching, and I jokingly said in watcher's chat: "Haha, watch him topdeck BLS."
... Topdecks of destiny. I called it. And lost. ;___;
Game two: this guy was pretty annoying, I won't lie. He had a ninja lock on me. Couldn't target any of his things, and he'd done something to stop me from summoning anything. I was running the Karakuri archetype, and had been reduced down to 200 life points while he'd remained at 8000. He tried to say gg several times, but I'd been weaving an elaborate plan for the past several turns. Needless to say, I baited him into trying to attack me for game with all he had, and proceeded to Karakuri Klock his monsters off of the field. The beginning of the end. Afterward, I heavy stormed, swarmed the field, and effectively shut down any further play he tried to make. Needless to say, this took another ten-twenty turns to successfully complete. Felt so nice after I emerged victorious.
Maybe I'll start taking screenshots of my all time best duels ever had and share them in a new thread.
